GREAT MYSTERIES OF THE WORLD
The Bermuda triangle
The story of the Bermuda Triangle began in 1945 when, in perfect flying conditions, a squadron of five American air force bombers on a training mission suddenly disappeared from radar, never to be seen again. Just before disappearing, they reported that all the planes compasses had stopped working and that they were lost. Since then, sixteen planes and numerous ships have simply vanished without trace in this same area, including on December 30, 1976 the supertanker, Grand Zenith, carrying over thirty million tons of oil. Most reported a failure of their navigational equipment.
Mysterious rain
Over the last few hundred years, there have been numerous reports of strange objects falling from the sky. In 1680, hundreds of live rats fell on a village in Norway. Showers of fish, frogs, lizards and worms have all been documented. In 1977, a couple walking home from church in Bristol in England were rained on by hundreds of hazel nuts falling from a clear blue sky. In 1984, a single house in Lancashire was bombarded with apples, and in 1989, it rained sardines on a small town in Australia. In 1994 a pensioner in France was rained on by enough coins to do her weekly shopping.
The curse of Tutankhamun
On 26 November 1922, the archaeologists Howard Carter and the Earl of Canarvon finally discovered the remains of the Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun, which had not been seen for over 3,000 years. It was said that curse of death would be on anyone who disturbed Tutankhamun’s body. Very shortly after the discovery, a cobra, which was considered by the ancient Egyptians to be a royal snake, bit and killed Howard Carter’s pet canary. Shortly after, the Earl of Carnavon fell in and died. At the exact moment of his death all the lights in Cairo suddenly and inexplicably went out. At this same moment in England, the Earl’s dog began to howl and then died.

Anel, your class was great and funny but the instructions were not clear. You have to be careful with the limit because you crossed it.
ResponderEliminarHello Anel, I think your class was funny but you need to involve a little bit more your Ss in a context so they can understand which is the main purpose, also you have to work in your English level and pronunciation, it still poor.
ResponderEliminarKeep on working!! :)
hi anel:
ResponderEliminarI really like your class, It was very dynamic and an interesting rhytm to learn something new, but I think you have to control all the students and your tone of voice, to obtain their attention.
